Frances Rittenhouse, Director



As an International Trainer for Parents as Teachers for over 20 years, Miss Frances shares her experiences and knowledge with all who meet her.  She has dedicated her life to the care and well-being of children and the opportunity to equip parents with the tools needed for creating and sustaining a healthy home.




Kris Keen, Assistant Director

Kris, her husband and their four children moved from California to Branson in 2005 at which time she was introduced to Church Army.  She has been employed with Church Army Branson since October 2006 and has worked with the children since the summer of '07.   She currently serves as Assistant Director of the Frances Rittenhouse Learning Center for Children and will be directing the 2nd Annual CAB Kids Musical at the end of our summer program 2009.  Kris also stays busy by facilitating a recovery class designed specifically for children whose lives have been affected by addiction.   


Karen Schaefer

Karen has worked with children for almost two years and is fondly known as Miss Karen to the children in our program.  Having already raised her four children, Karen brings much experience and lots of love to all.  While you will find her most often in the nursery, she sometimes can be found in the kitchen preparing our food so our kids have healthy and tasty meals while at the Center. 


Joanna Neal, Early Child Educator

Joanna Neal has been with us for over a year now and is currently is one of our teachers in the Infant/Toddler room.  She herself is a mommy to two year old Kaden and his baby sister, Kaylee.  She has provided much inspiration and hope for young people as she successfully earned her GED through tutoring provided from CAB a few months ago. 


Michelle Newton, Early Child Educator

Originally from Sikeston, Missouri, Michelle has recently joined our staff as our preschool teacher.
